Poker 21, called “Black Jack Parisian Style” is a 19th century French game. Poker 21 is not a variant of Poker, as its name suggests, but rather a variant of Black Jack with a slight touch of Poker. Poker 21 is played with 6 standard decks of cards dealt in a shoe, and the cards have the same value as in traditional Black Jack. Imperial Club Paris features only 4 poker tables available for Texas Hold’em and Pot Limit Omaha. The spreads offered include; 2 Tables for Texas Hold’em – buy-in min €250 / max €2,500 with small blind €5 / Big Blind €5 1 Table for Texas Hold’em - buy-in min €500 / max €5,000 with small blind €5 / Big Blind €10.
Aviation Club de France was a gambling club in central Paris, France.
The club opened in 1907 and was widely regarded as a classic gambling site.[1]In 2005, the Grand Prix de Paris leg of the World Poker Tour took place at the Aviation Club.[2]
The main games played at the Aviation Club were: baccarat, poker and backgammon.[citation needed]
The club was closed in 2014, after a raid by the police,[3] and placed in liquidation in February 2015.[4]
