Also by choosing the Premium service you can get the Visa within 24 hours (I have heard this by overhearing some guys at the reception, try to ask for this). Due to the current pandemic situation, the VFS centre Bangalore and the German Consulate General Bangalore can only accept certain categories of National Visas till further notice.

Indian citizens remain among the most frequent visitors of the Schengen Area, and Germany visas remain highly required by them. The South Asian country is home to 1.324 billion, around 1 million of which visited Europe only in 2017. Out of them, 153,961 applied for German visas, as Germany was the first or the only country in Europe they planned visiting.

However, Indian nationals often encounter difficulties obtaining the right information on how to obtain a Germany visa, the application process and required documents that one has to collect.

Around 30,000 Germany visas were issued from the Bangalore consulate in 2017. Getting a Schengen German visa appointment in Bangalore when there’s such a high number of applicants can be very time consuming and bothersome.
